Why can't I open my Yahoo mail page?

When I get to the Yahoo home page, and click the mail icon, I get a page that says "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". Everything else seems to be working. Our laptop, in the next room, works just fine. I can open the Yahoo mail on that computer. I checked the "diagnose problem", and can't come up with an answer. Please help!
