Problem with Leapster Explorer Computer Hookup(Not enough memory to sync)?

I am trying to connect my new leapster explorer to my pc and the updates will not load to my device because a message pops up that says not enough memory to sync please uncheck items and try again. but I cant do anything on the leapster until I am able to download update. PLEASE HELP.
