Is the name Joshua Matthew too long?

The last name has 3 syllables, and do you prefer Joshuah or Joshua? We also like the name Aaron Matthew, but Aaron is also one of my cousin's names, and is also my husband's best friend's name. Would that be too many Aaron's?
