How can i find out which type of airplane I will be travelling on and how safe it is?..?

Flying from Belfast to Gumbet,Turkey on 12th of June with Thomson and as I have a bit of a fear of flying I was wondering how I can find out what sort of plane I will be flying on and what it and the company's safety record is. Can anyone help?
