Yahoo is my home page. Internet explorer my brower and I keep getting "redirect"?

I can actually watch the address bar as its going through the addresses and then go to "redirect" and open a page of big type font choices and sometimes it has absolutely nothing to do with what I was searching for. What is causing this and how do I fix it for free? Someone said it was malware.

How to Thomson tcm420 router to a wireless router?

i recently got a broadband connection in my flat, and it's a Thomson tcm 420 router&modem for cable tv and internet, but without wireless possibility. in the meantime i acquired a TPLink TL-WR740N wireless router (not router&modem, just router), and i've been trying to connect those two so that i can connect via wifi in my flat.... i tried meddling with ip addresses, subnet masks, and so on, however something always keeps blocking my internet access... i'm a user of windows 7, and win says that i am connected to lan, (i supose the pc is properly connected to the wireless router), but further internet connection is not present... now, can anybody give me DETAILED instructions what should i do? what addresses should i copy to where? if i'm not wrong it should be some wan connection or something like that, right? any help would be much obliged. feel free to drop me an email to ivan.lesh.85@gmail.com if you have more detailed instructions, or, if you need some extra information.... thanks in advance!!!!

I can go to google.com and type in and search for anything, but once I click a link, any link at all, I am redirected to some sort of ad site or other strange sites that I was not looking for. Router connects to My laptop without having to type in the passkey?

Ok, so i have a thomson TG580 router, And i recently clicked the wifi button thingy, (on the side) because i did not know what it did. But now everytime i connect to my laptop, I click on my routers ssid and it used to connect then, asked me for the passkey. But now it just connects without asking me to type in the passkey. I am worried it is Unsecured. But when i look at it, it says it has WEP secuirty, and thats good. But i just want to know WHY it connects to the laptop without asking for the passkey first, I understand it has secuirty, but i am afraid that by pressing the wifi button on the side of the router, caused it to be unsecure, and anybody can steal from it. I tried connecting it from my ps3, and it asks me for the WEP passkey, which is what its suppose to do. Sorry if you cant understand this very good, i was rushing. But any ideas or clues on why it does that? I dont have to cd anymore, it came with everything installed (passkey, ssid, etc.)

First of all, to connect two regular ethernet adapters (i.e. the one in your computer and the one in the TV), you can't use a regular ethernet cable, you need what's called a cross-over cable or a regular cable plus a cross-over adapter. Next, since I don't think regular (i.e. non-server) versions of Windows have DHCP servers, you'll probably need to manually set the IP address on the TV and the one on the computer (though Win7 might be able to take care of that for you--not sure). I'm very frustrated because Mozilla Firefox, the only browser that works for me, refuses to start up. So I'm trying my hand at Internet Explorer 9, which is doing nothing but infuriate me. just like the title states, when i first boot up my computer explorer.exe stars out at 15,000 K, as time goes it increases, one thing that bothers me is when i open a folder or windows explorer, memory usage increases, which makes sense, but after i close it memory usage does not decrease, it remains the same, so the more folders i open over time the more memory is used, which is really scaring me, my computer is not slow but i would like to know if this is normal, before i rebooted my explorer.exe was at lik 65,000!!! now it is at 40,000 but i am not sure how long it will stay that low, can someone offer me a solution to this problem, or this normal? i have a toshiba setellite L505D and 3GB of RAM. my computer already as a problem, EXTREMELY SLOW booting time, when i restart or even log off i get s black screen for like 5 minutes before being taken to the log in screen, can this be related to the explorer.exe issue?

Question about A/C system on Ford Explorer?

2000 Ford Explorer with the 4.0 and automatic transmission. 140,000 miles. Okay, sometimes the A/C works, and sometimes it doesn't. It first started getting finicky when going down the highway. Acceleration from 40-55 or so would completely kill the A/C system as in it would still blow air but it would be warm. Now it's staring to blow warm air at random. Most of the time it's still cold but just has hick ups where it's warm. When it's cold though, it's cold. I'm having a debate with her stupid uncle because he's saying the system needs to be recharged. I say NO! It's the compressor or the clutch that's going bad. I just want to hear people's opinions. Personally I'm going to say Eminem. I don't even think this is a comparison but I would like to hear people's arguments. Now Weezy fans please don't go ballistic when you read this. My argument of Eminem being better is just he's simply better at every aspect of the game. The man has arguably the best flow. Now I'm not taking away from Biggie for flow (sorry for bringing him up) but I just feel like Eminem changes his up in every song. He knows how to incorporate a rhythm to every beat he has been on. Song content easily goes to Eminem. He makes stupid jokes and **** but he knows how to make songs about serious matters and can tell a decent story. All Lil Wayne does is come up with mediocre punch lines. If they were good I wouldn't care but about 85% of them have that pause flow and are just plain awful. Delivery again goes to Eminem and lyrically it's arguable. What I mean is multi syllables. Eminem is most likely better at that but I give credit to Wayne cus he can actually be more lyrical than a lot of rappers today. His content just ruins it for him. Infinite was on point but not my taste, SSEP was nice because it was the beginning of the Slim Shady Era, Encore blows, Relapse had it's moments, Relapse Refill was alright Recovery was a lyrical phenomenon but a little too poppy for my taste, and Hell the Sequel was pretty raw. Now for Wayne his albums are not even that great and he puts out a nice mix tape once in a while. I honestly think only Carter I and II were his good albums. The rest are not even worth discussing. Almost all of the Droughts and No Ceilings went hard. But to end this discussion Eminem is way better than Wayne to me. Opinions?

Help with xbox live and strict "NAT"?

Hey everyone I have a Thomson TG782T router and I have my xbox plugged into my wireless computer ( My router is upstairs and i'm downstairs) Also I bridge connections on my computer to connect. I have always had open NAT on my xbox but recently it went Strict out of no where and know I can't change it back. I have tried port forwarding done it all properly reset everything but nothing is working? Does anyone have any idea on how i could fix this because I really hate strict NAT! Color management, photo vs other programs?

I am running a Dell Studio w/ AOC monitor (cheap, not much info) and Vista. I am noting a BIG difference in color between photo software (anything from CS2 down to Windows Picture Viewer) and any other program. For example, in Windows Explorer the thumbnails have vibrant red. Open up the picture and it is a reddish brown. On Facebook the photos look entirely different (redder) so I have to use an older laptop to color correct. Any idea what is going on and how to fix it?

I speak English and German and a ton of Japanese. The thing about Japanese is that almost every syllable or mora ends in a vowel rather than a consonant and in English or German, it depends on the word. If I was using a singular noun in German, it'd usually end in a consonant but if it was a plural noun, it'd usually end in a vowel. Do you know what I'm saying? Now for English and German, although I spoke those 2 languages first, it's a little hard to explain the mouth movement in words. In Japanese, the mouth moves constantly up and down and every question you ask ends in か and Japanese has a ton of words that would constantly rhyme together in the same sentence than in English or German and it sometimes I'm speaking a lazy Chinese language with just a different pitch of the words and vowels or syllables. In fact, all k sounds in any language have a vibration from the throat or is that g? So do you say か or が? Z makes a buzzing sound. That's why bees go buzz buzz buzz and not buss buss buss. In fact bees is spelled bees but is pronounced BEEZ. The h sound seems to be rushing up from the throat so like when you say the Japanese word for "yes," "はい" it seems to just let your tongue go up and drop down than if you said the French word for "yes", "oui" or not move at all if you say the German word for "yes" "ja" or the English word "yes," and in Korean, for "ne" don't know how you would right that, the tongue will go up in the mouth like an l and then drop down but how many vibrations can you get speaking Japanese than English or German or anything else?

Thomson router won't work wirelessly but will with the cable?

My Thomson router has suddenly stopped working wirelessly, it works with the internet when I plug the cable into my laptop however I cannot connect anything wirelessly to it. Your first problem is that your TV is looking for its' own internet connection for all that Smart TV stuff since it won't get it from your laptop. As long as that TV doesn't have its' own dedicated connection you're out of luck. Smart TVs are concerned with copy protection, maximum bandwidth, etc., so get your hardline to the TV. You could try ICS in windows and maybe it would work. Or maybe not.

My cat makes weird noises every night, sounds like shes saying "Hello?"?

Computer Freezes in Team Fortress 2?

Whenever i try to play Team fortress 2 or Fable 3 my computer randomly freezes in the middle of the game. i have to alt tab back to desktop and click the game icon again to get it working. even after that it still continues to do that. Sometimes it will wait awhile before it freezes and sometimes it will freeze instantly right when i get back from having it freeze. It continues to do this throughout the entire game. I have a dual core processor and windows 7 32 bit. my graphics card is a Geforce GTS 450. I recently just had a 1 tb hardrive put in and also 6 gigs of ram. I'm having trouble connecting my Linksys router to my comcast internet...?

I'm trying to connect my Linksys BEFSR81 router to my Thomson RCA DCM325 Cable Modem, I have successfully connected the router so that it receives a signal however it appears I can only connect one computer at a time to the ROUTER. I've reset the modem about 10 times(sometimes for 30 seconds and other times about 10 minutes). Maybe I'm retarded . Do I need a different router? Am I doing something wrong? Cannot delete document?

I downloaded a program Go dswsms transfer and then copied and pasted the instructions to use this to a word document. This program doesn't work on my phone so I cannot use it. I have 6 files associated with this download - the instructions created a Word Document and an HTML document, I have a document called ESBK.mb and one ESBK.mbb. I have one named Global sw.2, one _setup which is an XML Document. These are all in My Documents except for the ESBK documents which are in Public Documents. When I right click on them to delete them I get a message that Internet Explorer has stopped working and then Internet Explorer is restarting. I have tried everything and cannot delete these and I want to get them off my computer. Any suggestions - this is making me nuts!!

History icons "week" and "month" are gone in Internet Explorer 9?

I think I may have accidentally deleted the icons "Week" and "Month. I can view "Today" in history, but cannot view "Week" or "Month", they are gone. Under internet options, browsing history settings, it is set to keep browsing history for 20 days and 250mb disk space to use. The "delete history on exit" box is unchecked. Is there any way to get the icons back so I can view history for more than a day?

How do you restore Libraries in Windows 7?

A week or two ago, I noticed my libraries were gone. When I clicked on Libraries, the window was blank, where there used to be my documents, music, pictures, and videos. If I click on the drop down arrow, nothing appears but the arrow disappears.The only documents I can find are one document I have made since this problem started, but only if i search it by its name in the explorer or hit open from microsoft word, and the last bunch of documents from word using the side arrow for recent documents when i hit Start. This problem seemed to start after I had to do a system restore because after my mother used my laptop for something, i seemed to have some sort of trojan or malware fooling around with my system. after the system restore, my computer seemed fine, although eventually i noticed the libraries issue. also, whenever i turn on my laptop since the restore, it say that catalyst control center has stopped working. i dont recall using that and dont know what it is. i right clicked and clicked restore default libraries, but nothing happened. I had some videos on there that I need to send to the person in them, and also I will be heading back to school in two months. I am a journalism student, so documents are fairly important and I need to be able to save and reopen things frequently. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have explorer 8, and now it wants me to upgrade. I did upgrade to explorer 9, but I did not like it and had to system restore to get rid of it. Now it is saying on youtube that it does not support me. Will this effect me in any way if I do not upgrade? I want to stay with explorer 8

Flying to spain at 30 weeks pregnant?

I have a holiday booked to go to Ibiza (quiet part!) in 3 and a half weeks time. I will be 30+ 6 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child when I go and 31 + 6 when I return home. I am flying with Thomson and they are happy to let pregnant women with single and uncomplicated pregnancies fly on short haul flights until 36 weeks. My pregnancy has been great so far with no complications at all. I also managed to get holiday insurance no problem that covers me while i'm that far gone. My first pregnancy was also great with no complications and I carried my daughter to full term. I'm now worried after reading a few things on the net that my doc wont issue me with a fit to fly note as I will be travelling past the 30 week mark. Has anyone flew this far on in pregnancy and if so was your doc ok with issuing a fit to fly? I know its probably up to the individual doctor as to whether they issue 1 or not but as I said, im kinda worried about it now as the holiday is all booked and paid for and my 3 year old is really looking forward to it!! I live in Glasgow so the flight will be about 2and a half to 3 hours long. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

I think I may be O.C.D, and possibly paranoid.?

I've been focusing on things like this recently, and it has come to my attention that I seem likely to have O.C.D. The first instance of O.C.D like behavior I can remember is from when I was a little child. When I would ride in the car I would always look out the window, and watch the objects. Then I would count them. While others were talking to me during this I would count every word they said on the objects going past me and if their sentence didn't work out to be totally even I would break things up, clump things together, add in, or take out words. This really interfered with my listening, and by the time I noticed I was doing this it had been a few years and I found it difficult to stop. I still do this sometimes. Then once I had, for the most part, corrected this annoying error I began to grind my teeth to the syllables of things others said to me, and occasionally to what I said as well. Then began my germ phobia. It was completely unreasonable, and yet I still have it for the most part. I felt that everything was dirty, my own hands were always dirty, etc. If something were to compromise the cleanliness of a surface, even after it had been properly cleaned and relentlessly disinfected, I would feel that the germs were still there and it would, in my mind, render the object untouchable/unusable. I would wash my hands five or six times and always up to my elbows (sometimes higher) after little things like using the restroom, touching a remote control, touching a counter top, having used cleaning products on something, etc. Occasionally I find myself afraid of having picked up germs from an object I merely saw or considered touching, but did not so much as get near it. For a short period of time I found myself unwilling to touch my food, as I believed my hands would compromise the foods sanitation. So, I ate everything by picking it up with my mouth or a utensil such as a fork rather than my hands. This went even for potato chips or french fries; even a banana (very difficult). I eventually overcame this by washing my hands multiple times before I ate anything. I find I believe everything to be dirty. I re-wash dishes before I eat off of them even when I take them out of the dish drainer and they've only been washed moments before. Also, I am somewhat of a slob. But then I find after the room being messy only for a few minutes due to my slob habits that I go into mad Nazi-cleaning mode. I vacuum and dust and polish and organize and sort through and throw away. I even organize my clutter to be arranged in what I find to be a more appealing manor. As far as my personal hygiene, when I first get in the show I wash my hands with soap before I begin washing myself. Then after washing myself I was my hands with soap again. This keeps going on until I'm finished with my shower. This could just be my anger issues, but I get angry at myself for doing something wrong, even the slightest thing (for example, using an abbreviation that is for the most part useless), and find that I have a sort of compulsive need to fix the error, whatever it may be. This also comes in to play with my grammar, as I'm sure you have noticed. The slightest spelling mistakes make me freak out. Also, in a subject that I feel I'm right on, I absolutely REFUSE to allow someone to tell me otherwise. I am wholly unable to take criticism, even if it is constructive. Also, sometimes I feel a random need to get up and pace. I can pace for hours upon hours while not feeling like it has been more than five minutes. If for some reason I am unable to pace around I get this odd feeling, as though I literally need to be doing it, as though it were important and absolutely imperative that the task was performed. Also, as I'm sure of you have read, I have self-harmed (mostly in the past, I've been trying to quit) and each time I did so I always left three cuts/burns/bruises. Although this may not tie in here, as I created something for each to stand for (1: Punishment 2: Control 3: Clarity). Often times I find myself (unjustifiably) feeling absolutely superior to those around me. As though I can grasp things they cannot. In groups I feel that I have to be the one to do all the work as I'm the only one who can perform the task given correctly. I realize the others are capable of doing just as well as I, and possibly better, but I cannot help but feel otherwise. I also think I'm paranoid. This is due to the fact that on more occasion than one I've wondered whether or not someone was watching me; this occurs when I am completely alone. Sometimes I feel the need to correct my thoughts so that they might be appropriate in the event that anyone around me could somehow read minds. I also find when I'm at home I am extremely suspicious of my mother. She does not trust me and I find that I sometimes feel as though she may have installed cameras to watch me. I will admit to literally looking into things searching

Why is my new computer so slow?

I just recently got a new computer. Its the Pink Dell Inspiron computer. I updated it, added Norton Security, i have the sims 3 games on it, minecraft, and little desktop add-ons. But before i even had the sims or minecraft on it, it still was the same. When it starts up it takes about 20 minutes for it to actually be accessible (to where i can actually click on something) and it takes about 20 more minutes for my browser to pop up. i have to click out of it and be paitent and i am running out of my patience. sometimes my whole computer background doesnt respond (Windows Explorer as well) . The task manager doesnt respond quick like my siblings computer when my computer is in fact supposed to be faster than his. Port forwarding on Thomson TG585v7?

I want to open port 25565 so that I can host servers on Minecraft. I have used the router configuration web page to forward the port to my PC but Port Checker says that it is still closed. On a recent Thomson flight back from Mexico, whilst the first meals were being served I noticed that there was a fly flying around inside the plastic dish that had my chocolate desert in. How to deal with a friend who won't stop talking and calling! I'm at the end of my rope of patience!?

I've known my friend for 15 years, we live in separate states now. Our friendship has waxed and waned in closeness over the years, but lately she's been calling EVERYday. External 1tb Mybook unreadable?

while I was watching some videos from my internal hard drive my computer restarted to install updates. Once the desktop loaded afterwards, windows explorer was very laggy and unresponsive. So, I unplugged my external hd and it solved the issue. But, now when I plug it back in I get a message box saying I need to format it before I can use it and I can't browse it at all. Also It doesn't show up as Mybook(L:) anymore. Now it's Local Disk(L:). I've tried plugging it into multiple usb ports and still the same issue. I have the entire drive completely full of irreplaceable data, so formatting is absolutely out of the question. Another odd thing is that the Western Digital Smartware drive still shows up as it usually does. I'm currently using Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. Anyone have a fix for this issue?

It makes Japanese sounds for instance. A consonant is connected with a vowel in each syllable. Sort of how Japanese words work. But on Google Translate, they don't say it all that rapidly like they would a Japanese word. Today, I was just on my computer. Suddenly AVG tells me a threat is on my computer. I choose to get rid of it. Then it tells me to reset my computer. I do that. Then when I turn it back on & go into my browser (Internet explorer AND Googke Chrome) then it asks me what I want to open it with. On explorer and chrome, I open with internet explorer or something, then I open it. Then it opens for a split second then closes, then asks me what I wanna run it with. It works for Steam though. Something is wrong with my internet..hacked?

The first thing I noticed is that my eBay settings had been changed to search international listings only? I still have not figured out how they got changed or how to change them back. I bought a replacement window regulator with motor for my 02 ford explorer xlt. I connected everything the window rolls down every slow and barley can back roll up without me pulling on the window. I see that the metal piece that bolts to window will also hit the motor if i roll down window all the way and hit the motor on the roll back up. The part is for the make and model of my SUV. Help!!!
